Annual Village Renaissance Faire -- A Faire for a Cause    September 16 - 17, 2017   Wrightstown, Bucks County

The Village Library of Wrightstown is hosting a Renaissance Faire— and it is very family friendly. The Renaissance Faire takes place at The Grange Fairgrounds in Wrightstown. It runs from 11AM to 6PM on both Saturday and Sunday. What to expect?

  • 8 stages of live Song, Dance, Theatre, Puppetry, Shakespeare, Juggling, and more
  • Working Trebuchet Catapult
  • Kids Catapult Scramble
  • 3 free craft pavilions
  • 2 living history demonstration areas
  • Games, contests, carriage rides, workshops, lessons, pony riders, interactive play
  • Wrightstown’s Own Medieval Fantasy Games: Tic-Tac-Cluck, Ratapult, Jacobs Ladder, Chicken Shot into a Giant Pot, How Well can you throw a FIT, and more
  • Merlin’s Mystical World of Captured Air (a.k.a. inflatables for modern sorts)
  • Fire Breather, an Ice Breather, Petting Zoo
  • NEW-- Sciencetelling, Ice Breathing, Merlin's Magic

There is also a Kid's Kingdom or a children's play area that has been constructed to replicate the many arts, sciences, entertainment, and lifestyles portrayed by the players throughout the day. It has hands-on crafts games that include everything from chess tournaments and dragon hunts, to feats of strength and gryking, a maze, foam archery, a puppet stage, music land, and knightly training.
