This is a great park for kiddos of all ages. There is a pretty swanky playground for tots as well as older kids, tennis, basketball, fields, a walking trail, a pavillion offering shade and restrooms.

Kidsgrove is a beautiful, unique, all wooden playground located in the Selinsgrove Boro. Smoke and alcohol free facility, fully handicapped accessible playground with sidewalks throughout with ramps into the play areas. There is also a handicapped accessible sandbox and swing. Love that!

Gosh we Love Kids Castle!  It is a terrific place for kiddos AND parents.  What we love?  Tons!  

The Castle is fenced in. Yep, that is awesome. No one is getting in or getting out other than the main entrance.

Getting the kids ready to hike? There are 14 miles of nature trails in the woods and meadows at the eastern end of Lake Galena. The walking options vary from groomed foot paths near the Nature Center Solar Building to remote hiking trails in the mature woods.

If you have kids who play soccer or lacrosse or many other outdoor sports in State College, you have probably been to Tudek Memorial Park. but maybe you didn't realize there is an awesome butterfly garden on the property! Take a walk along the path next time you are there, and you will find it. It's beautiful and worth a visit!

I pass this place quite a bit enroute to downtown Newtown, quite a nice little place. Originally named "Mount Pleasant" in the mid 1800's, the house was sold to Newtown Township in 1997 to be preserved in perpetuity.

Graeme Park (pronounced GRAM) is a 42-acre historic park, featuring the Keith House, the only surviving residence of a Colonial Pennsylvania Governor. The mansion has remained virtually intact since the late 18th century. A visit to Graeme Park is nature trails, a picnic lunch, and a visit with the politicians, physicians, patriots, loyalists, poets, and writers who frequented the Keith House.
